PASTORAL CARE
The Pastoral System is a key part of school life. Aka School Pastoral Care Program is designed to support our students as they progress through the school. Built upon horizontal and vertical care systems throughout the staff and student community. The program is a successful relationship built on understanding, respect for others, self-confidence and trust so regular meetings are held between students, parents and the school . Our staff members have a responsibility to care for the well-being of our students.
Pastoral Care also underpins the daily interactions between and amongst both staff and students.
The curriculum is comprehensive, age appropriate and addresses the
students' social and emotional development. It equips them with the
skills they will need to face the challenges in an everchanging world.
DISCIPLINE
The aim of discipline is to ensure a happy, healthy environment in which our children enjoy learning . The pastoral system is supported by a fair and consistent disciplinary framework to uphold the school’s ethos and standards of behaviour. If problems are encountered they are handled in a caring and professional manner in partnership with parents.
